Medical Records and Scheduling Specialist
PACE@Home is seeking a Medical Records and Scheduling Specialist to fulfill the organizations need for development and maintenance of medical records consistent with PACE@Home policies and procedures.
Employee Type: Full Time
Minimum Experience: One to three years of experience in the medical records department or healthcare setting or equivalent combination of experience, education and training required.
Required Degree: High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Healthcare, Business Administration or Medical Records related field preferred. Training in ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM and CPT coding guidelines required. RHIT certified or equivalent certification through AHIMA/AAPC preferred. Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
Other Requirements: Must have Medical form filled out and signed by physician, PA or NP prior to working.
